Made from a reclaimed vintage kantha quilt and leather, this overnight bag is both useful and stylish. Fully lined with a 100 percent cotton fabric it has 1 zipped and two open interior phone pockets. Fastened wit a zip closure, its base is reinforced with brass feet. Each bag comes with a complementary fabric pocket.

This overnight bag is made from a single vintage Kantha quilt, carefully chosen for its quality and design. 

Perfect in their imperfections, each piece is unique. This finely-stitched kantha quilt is made from up to 6 layers of vintage 100% cotton sari and sewn together with thousands of tiny running stitches. A product of female resourcefulness and creativity, Kantha is an age-old Indian tradition. Fabrics are between 40-80 years old. Every quilt is carefully selected for its condition, design, and authentic appeal. Freshly washed to ensure softness.

All fabrics are ethically hand-picked by Tanya on her regular trips to India. Quilts are sustainably repurposed by a family-run business that we have enjoyed a working relationship with for over 10 years. Read more here.

Washing Instructions:

Our vintage Kantha textiles have stood the test of time, we encourage you to enjoy them. Machine wash @ 30-40 degrees. Dry flat if possible or can be given extra bounce in a tumble dryer.
