This piece of fabric is the work of a talented artisan from West Bengal, under the umbrella of an NGO. The motifs and techniques are an age-old tradition. Each panel can take up to 3 months to complete. A single piece of silk, the detailed embroidery is visible on the reverse.

Tussar silk hand embroidered with fine cotton thread, Hand wash in cold water, allow to drip dry. In order to protect this fine work, it is advisable to cover it with a clean damp cloth before ironing. When new the fabric is crisp becoming beautifully soft when worn.
